Bexhill

All events and social meetings are conducted within Covid regulations and protocols in operation at that time.

Branch meetings take  place on the first and third Friday of the month. On the second Friday is a walking group and on the fourth Friday a lunch.

FRIDAY 8 APRIL 2022, AT 10.30 AM saw the inaugural meeting of BEXHILL JUST FRIENDS WALKING GROUP. A happy band of 11 walkers, 8 ladies and 3 gentlemen set off from the rear of the De la Warr Pavilion for a bracing walk along Bexhill promenade. After an hour we stopped for coffee at the Sovereign Light Cafe – much laughter ensued!

The Bexhill JUST FRIENDS took their monthly walk along the seafront on a glorious sunny day led by Tricia Clifford. Here they are having a well earned rest at the Oceanside Beach cafe in Glyne Gap.

Bexhill Walking Group had a great walk on Friday 8 July 2022. Our guide was Andrez Kolawaski. We walked through Polegrove and Egerton Parks to try and keep in the shade. The hottest day of the year so far. Great fun and we all enjoyed a coffee and chat afterwards.

Despite August 12th being one of the hottest days of the year, 9 members of Bexhill JUST FRIENDS, strolled out through Egerton Park and then along the beautiful seafront. The sky and sea were blue, the sailing club had yacht and canoe racing and many people of all ages were happily swimming in the sea. We ended up having ice cream in the Sovereign Light Cafe.
